New here?
We're an independent Methodist church with deep roots in the Ennis community. In fact, 2025 marks 150 years since this church was first established! A lot has changed over the years, but one thing has stayed the same—we’re here to serve our Lord, Jesus Christ. That mission has never wavered and continues to be at the heart of all we do.
We’re grounded in scripture, guided by the Holy Spirit, and fully committed to following Jesus. Our goal is to live out His love through service, just as our mission says: “to change our world through loving service to God and others.”
We’d love for you to join us this Sunday—you’re always welcome here!
What to expect on sunday

Adult & Children's fellowship groups 9:00 AM
We offer Adult & Children’s Fellowship before the main service—it’s a great chance to dig deeper into scripture, ask questions, and grow in faith with others. Whether you’re brand new to the Bible or have studied it for years, you’ll feel right at home. Learn more about our Fellowship Groups HERE.
Coffee & Fellowship
9:45 AM
Come a little early and you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome, a smile, and maybe even a cup of coffee and some donuts. Our team is happy to help you find your way around and answer any questions.
Worship Service
10:00 AM
The main service begins at 10:00 and lasts about an hour. We start with music—mixing traditional hymns and modern worship—followed by prayer, scripture, and a message that connects God’s Word to real life.
Children's church
We have something special for kids during the service! After joining our children’s minister at the front of the sanctuary, they’ll head to a safe and engaging space where they can learn about God in a fun, age-appropriate way. Teens are welcome in the main service or can join youth gatherings as scheduled.

During Worship
Message & Sermon
Our pastor brings a message each week that’s rooted in the Bible and relevant to your daily walk with Christ. Encouraging, thoughtful, and challenging in the best way.
Weekly Communion
Every Sunday, we share in Holy Communion together. All are welcome at the Lord’s Table—it’s a central and sacred part of our worship. Whether you’ve taken communion many times or this would be your first, we invite you to join us in this moment of grace and reflection.
Prayer & Reflection
Every service includes space to pray, reflect, and reconnect with God. Whether silently or together, this time is a meaningful part of our worship.
FAQ
Where do I park?
We’ve got plenty of parking on site! Look for guest parking spots near the main entrance, or just park wherever feels comfortable. If you need help or assistance getting inside, our greeters are happy to help.
Where do I go in?
There are several doors to enter into the church but the easiest is on the North side of the building labeled Sanctuary. Once you’re inside, someone from our welcome team will be there to greet you and point you in the right direction—whether that’s the sanctuary, restrooms, nursery, or Sunday School rooms.
What should I Wear?
Come as you are! You’ll see a mix of everything—from jeans and t-shirts to Sunday best. We want you to feel comfortable, so whether you're dressing up or dressing casual, you’ll fit right in.
Do you provide Child care?
Yes! We offer loving and safe childcare during Sunday school and worship service. Our nursery and children’s ministry team is trained, background-checked, and excited to care for your little ones. Kids are also welcome to stay with you in the service if you prefer.
